Browse your fonts in RightFont

RightFont makes it easy to browse, organize, and preview large font collections.

Organize Fonts with Libraries and Folders

RightFont uses font libraries to help you organize fonts for different projects, clients, or workflows. You can create multiple libraries and quickly switch between them from the sidebar.

Starting with RightFont 10.0, you can also use the Add Folder feature to browse fonts directly from existing folders on your Mac without importing or copying font files.

With folder-based browsing:

  • Font files remain in their original location
  • Changes automatically sync with RightFont
  • Added or removed fonts update in real time
  • Subfolders appear as nested font sets

This makes it easy to manage fonts stored in project folders, cloud drives, or external collections.

Browse Fonts in Grid or List View

RightFont offers multiple viewing modes to match different browsing styles.

  • Grid View displays fonts as preview cards for visual browsing.
  • List View provides a compact layout for quickly scanning large collections.

You can switch between views at any time depending on your workflow and the size of your font library.

Customize Font Previews

RightFont includes flexible preview tools to help you evaluate fonts more effectively.

You can:

  • Change the preview text
  • Adjust preview sizes
  • Use waterfall previews in the Sizes tab
  • Switch between preview presets such as numbers, symbols, uppercase letters, and multilingual samples

These tools make it easier to compare fonts in real design scenarios, including UI design, branding, editorial layouts, and typography work.

Inspect Font Details

When you double-click a font, RightFont opens the font inspector where you can explore:

  • Font previews and waterfall sizes
  • Glyph collections
  • OpenType features
  • Font metadata and licensing information

This allows you to quickly examine every aspect of a font before using it in your projects.
